Luciano Spalletti is keen to be reunited with Kim Min-jae after their successful time together at Napoli, and Juventus are ready to sign him from Bayern Munich, according to Tuttojuve.

After winning the Serie A crown in the summer of 2023, the Korean defender moved to Bayern, where he has remained since then and could stay for another season.

However, Juventus do not want that to happen and are keen for him to become the next star defender in their squad as they look to help Spalletti win trophies in Turin.

Juventus Defensive Plans Take Shape

The manager is being trusted to continue as their gaffer for another season, and he wants to ensure that he has the right players around him to make the team successful.

Min-jae is one of the top stars he could add to his squad this summer, and Juventus are keen to make sure the defender joins them. However, Bayern want 35 million euros for his signature and will not offer any discounts.

They have several top defenders in their squad, but they are open to losing him as long as their asking price is met, leaving Juventus to decide whether to pay up or look for another option.

Transfer Decision Facing Juventus

The Old Lady have some money to spend, but paying 35 million euros for Min-jae will not be easy because they do not currently see defensive reinforcements as their biggest priority.

Juventus will continue to assess the situation carefully before making a final decision on whether to pursue the deal or move on to alternative targets in defence.

The coming weeks are expected to be important as Juventus consider both the financial implications and squad priorities ahead of the new season.

Spalletti’s preference for familiar players could also play a role in shaping Juventus’ transfer strategy this summer window.

Overall, the situation remains open.
