Besiktas have intensified their interest in Dusan Vlahovic and are making it increasingly difficult for Juventus to keep the striker in Turin, with uncertainty continuing to surround his future ahead of the new season.
Juventus have so far failed to meet the demands required to extend his contract, while the striker continues searching for a club willing to satisfy his financial expectations. Negotiations between both parties have not produced an agreement, leaving the possibility of a departure growing stronger as the transfer situation develops.
At present, no club from Europe’s leading leagues appears prepared to match the salary package Vlahovic is seeking, which has given Juventus some hope that he could eventually reconsider and accept their proposal instead.
Besiktas Pushing For Agreement
However, Besiktas are continuing to push aggressively for the striker and are now emerging as serious contenders for his signature. The Turkish side are reportedly prepared to offer financial terms capable of convincing him to make the move this summer.
The situation has become increasingly complicated for Juventus because the club are unable to match the figures currently being discussed elsewhere. Luciano Spalletti would prefer to keep Vlahovic as part of his plans, but financial limitations are making negotiations difficult.
Juventus Considering Alternatives
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Besiktas have offered the striker a package that includes a €5 million signing-on bonus alongside a salary worth around €10 million net per season.
Juventus do not believe they can justify those wages, particularly given the striker’s recent fitness concerns and inconsistent availability in recent weeks. While they still regard him as one of the top forwards in world football, the club are reluctant to commit to terms they consider excessive.
As a result, Juventus are continuing to evaluate alternative attacking targets and could accelerate plans to replace him if he ultimately refuses to sign a new contract under the club’s conditions before the transfer window closes.
