Kenan Yildiz is injured, and the timing could hardly be worse as the attacker was preparing to play an important role for Juventus in all competitions this season. He suffered an injury during the final weeks of last season and struggled after playing for Turkiye at the World Cup, which led Juventus to allow him some additional weeks of holiday to recover.

Yildiz returned in time to feature during pre-season and also started the Bianconeri’s first league match of the season against Frosinone at the weekend. However, he did not finish the game, with what initially appeared to be a tactical substitution instead proving to have been forced by an injury.

Juventus Concerned by Yildiz Injury

Early scans suggest that the injury is serious and that Yildiz will be sidelined for some time. Juventus currently believe he could be unavailable for around two months, but there are now concerns that his absence could last even longer.

The situation is particularly concerning because Yildiz plays an important role in the team and was expected to contribute significantly throughout the season. His absence could therefore leave Juventus without one of their key attacking options during an important period.

Bianconeri Fear Longer Absence

According to Tuttojuve, Juventus now fear that the winger could be out of action for a longer period because he appears to have suffered a significant injury. The club will therefore wait for further assessments before knowing the full extent of the problem and how long Yildiz could remain unavailable.

A lengthy absence would represent a major blow for the Bianconeri, particularly because Yildiz was expected to play a key role across all competitions. His importance to the team means Juventus could struggle to maintain their level of performance while he is unavailable.

The initial expectation of an absence lasting around two months is already a concern, but the possibility of a longer spell on the sidelines makes the situation even more worrying. Juventus will hope further examinations provide better news and allow Yildiz to return sooner than feared.

Until then, the Bianconeri must prepare to cope without an attacker who was expected to be an important part of their plans this season. If his recovery takes longer than initially expected, Juventus could face a difficult period without one of their key players.
