Official Juventus team to face Atalanta

Maurizio Sarri returns to Juventus with another club as the Bianconeri look to get back to winning ways against Atalanta, and this is the side put out by Luciano Spalletti.

However, La Dea have also lost back-to-back matches and are in need of a win just like Juventus, making this a contest between two clubs who cannot afford another defeat.

Sarri is working to prove he remains a top manager, while Juventus showed in midweek that they can deliver when required. Their five-goal victory over NEC provided some encouragement before a much tougher domestic test.

The Bianconeri know they cannot compare NEC with Atalanta, and this match is expected to be considerably more difficult than their Europa League fixture. Juventus will need to maintain their focus if they are to secure another important result.

Juventus aim to return to winning ways

Apart from their defeat to Sassuolo, Juventus have been very competitive during this campaign. The Bianconeri will be determined to maintain that level as they look to respond in Serie A.

Their supporters will want to see the team beat La Dea, although that will be easier said than done. Atalanta also needs a positive result and will not make it easy for their hosts.

The visitors know Juventus will be determined to win, so they are expected to compete strongly throughout the match. Both sides have plenty of motivation to produce a response after their recent results.

Atalanta provide a difficult test

Juventus won the last meeting between the sides in Bergamo during the second half of last season, giving the Bianconeri some recent success in this fixture.

However, Atalanta have not lost any of their last four Serie A visits to the Allianz Stadium. That record adds another layer of interest to a match that already carries significant importance for both teams.

Juventus will therefore need to perform at their best if they are to return to winning ways, while Atalanta will be looking to end their own run of defeats. With both teams searching for a response, the encounter promises to be a competitive contest.

The Bianconeri will have home support behind them, but Atalanta’s recent record in Turin means Juventus cannot afford to become complacent. Both sides will be determined to leave the Allianz Stadium with a much-needed result.
