Juventus are interested in signing Theo Hernandez as the defender could be open to a return to European football after his spell in the Saudi Pro League with Al Hilal.

The Old Lady remain active in the transfer market as they look to strengthen their squad and improve the overall quality of the team ahead of the new season. Several players are currently being monitored, and Hernandez has reportedly emerged as one of the latest names added to their shortlist.

Juventus Considering Theo Hernandez Move

The French defender previously impressed during his time at AC Milan, where he established himself as one of the strongest attacking full backs in Serie A. His performances in Italy enhanced his reputation before he eventually accepted a move to Saudi Arabia.

Juventus are now interested in bringing him back to Italian football as Luciano Spalletti continues reshaping the squad. The club are expected to make changes in several positions during the current transfer window as they attempt to build a more competitive side capable of challenging for major honours again.

Andrea Cambiaso’s potential departure to Chelsea has also increased the importance of strengthening the left side of defence, which has encouraged Juventus to examine the possibility of signing Hernandez this summer.

Financial Obstacles Could Complicate Deal

As reported by Tuttojuve, Spalletti is keen to work with Hernandez and has identified the defender as one of the players he would like to add to his squad before the campaign begins.

However, completing the transfer could prove difficult because of the financial demands involved. Hernandez currently earns a substantial salary in the Saudi Pro League, and Juventus may struggle to match those figures under their current wage structure.

A deal would therefore likely depend on the player’s willingness to accept a pay cut and prioritise a return to Europe over financial considerations.

Juventus are expected to continue assessing the situation in the coming weeks while exploring whether an agreement can realistically be reached that satisfies both the club and the player.
