Davide Frattesi is reportedly keen to reunite with Luciano Spalletti at Juventus and has paused interest in other potential moves while waiting for the Old Lady, according to Calciomercato.
Frattesi was previously on Juventus’ radar during his time at Sassuolo, but ultimately opted to join Inter Milan instead, a decision that has since come under scrutiny given his limited involvement at the San Siro.
Frattesi Situation at Inter Milan
Since moving to Inter, the midfielder has struggled to secure consistent playing time and has not established himself as a regular starter. This lack of continuity has led to growing speculation that he could be allowed to leave if a suitable offer arrives.
In January, Frattesi was reportedly close to a move to Nottingham Forest, but Inter were unable to complete a replacement signing and therefore blocked the transfer at the time.
Interest from the Premier League side has reportedly remained, while several other Serie A clubs are also monitoring his situation ahead of the next transfer window.
Juventus Preference and Spalletti Link
Despite external interest, Frattesi is now believed to be prioritising a move to Juventus and is prepared to wait for the opportunity to work under Spalletti again.
He is said to view Juventus as the ideal destination to revive his career, with the manager considered someone who understands how to maximise his strengths in midfield. Spalletti is also reportedly confident that he could help bring out the best in the player if a deal is completed.
Frattesi has effectively blocked alternative moves while awaiting developments from Juventus, indicating a clear preference for the Turin-based club.
Inter are not opposed to selling the midfielder to a direct rival, provided Juventus meet their valuation, which leaves the door open for negotiations between the two clubs in the coming weeks as the situation develops.
