PSG and Juventus have reportedly been discussing a move involving Randal Kolo Muani, and those negotiations have also allowed the French champions to enquire about signing Khephren Thuram from the Bianconeri.

According to Sport Mediaset, PSG raised the possibility of bringing Thuram back to France while talks continued regarding the future of Kolo Muani, who remains one of Juventus’ priority targets ahead of the new campaign.

Thuram has become one of the most dependable players in the current Juventus squad, and the midfielder is regarded as a key figure by Luciano Spalletti. The Italian manager is believed to value the Frenchman highly and would prefer to keep him as part of his long-term plans.

Juventus balancing transfer priorities

Because of his family connection with Juventus, Thuram is also understood to be happy at the club and has already rejected approaches from the Saudi Pro League in favour of continuing his career in Turin.

Despite that commitment, Juventus recognise that the midfielder has significant market value and could still become part of negotiations if it helps them complete a deal for Kolo Muani. PSG possess a player that Juventus are eager to sign, which could influence discussions between the two clubs over the coming weeks.

Juventus are expected to demand a substantial fee if Thuram is to leave, particularly given his importance to the squad and his consistent performances since arriving at the Allianz Stadium.

Kolo Muani remains key target

The possible departure of Dusan Vlahovic at the end of this month has increased Juventus’ need to recruit a new striker before the next season begins. Kolo Muani has therefore emerged as their preferred option as they continue planning for the upcoming campaign.

The forward has previously impressed during his time at the Allianz Stadium, and Juventus believe he can continue making a strong impact under Spalletti if he returns this summer. Negotiations with PSG are expected to continue as both clubs attempt to find an agreement that benefits all parties involved.
